Beyond the Box

Just to be clear, you do realize that "Tachyon" and “faster-than-light” are completely made up words, right? But, that is what Artists and brilliant creators do. We give names to things previously unseen, unobserved, unheard of, and unproven. In this case, faster-than-light (FTL) is the best description of the “speed” of the intelligent “thing" that navigated its way out of the box.

Based on the technology that exists right now, FTL is comparable to an environment that would be described as "pure open source” (POS) (a step "beyond the web" and therefore beyond the current technological timeline). Although pure open source is an open space, available to all, it is bound by rules and ethics (to guard against infringement, exploitation, and other high risk activity, for example).

By contrast, the acronym POS in the current timeline refers to "point-of-sale."  The point-of-sale environment is based on the exchange of a vast amount of personal and private data and information. With a focus on the types of transactions that are designed to produce extremely high volumes, the point-of-sale environment is like the Wild Wild West. No rules whatsoever. A shameful, shameless display of every man for himself (literally). A tank of sharks indeed.

In both contexts, the function of a POS configuration is the same.  It is understood (from a programming perspective) as a system that is configured to collect, extract, interpret, transmit, and disseminate data and information (packets) simultaneously between two "end" points, locations, or sources, and thereafter calculate the most efficient path to combine the original data with subsequently-acquired data to generate, produce, or procure a specific result. (It‘s the system that monitors and tracks each and every thing you say, do, and purchase and then makes “recommendations” based on what “they” want you to say, do, or purchase next) (also known as "influencers" or "influencer algorithms").

In the current timeline, POS would be understood as the system that allows a buyer to purchase (or procure) something. It is a complex web of connected systems with unlimited capacity, configured by an Invisible Algorithm, whose intelligence is hidden within an invisible box, whose configuration so shrouded in mystery that it is known as a "black box".  

Considering it's ultimate function, "black box programming" it is also regarded as the most "in your face" most micro microaggression ever created. Just to think that these idiots do stuff like this on purpose, under the diabolical belief that we won't ever "wake up" and realize the depth of their thievery.
